I was hesitate about purchasing a large wall clock without seeing it in person, but took a chance and placed the order. The color of the actual clock is very true to the photo shown. The center of the clock is made to look like cherry wood inlay, but from a distance just looks like a dark cherry color that works well with the burgundy/dk red in my room. I wish the trim was a bit more antique bronze color instead of the gold, but it’s burnished enough to not be gaudy. My only wish is that the numbers were raised, instead of just painted on, for a more dimensional look, but for the price it’s understandable. It’s a beautiful clock, I’ve received many compliments on it, and so far, keeps accurate time.
